    Hi! I'm Jennifer Schattle and I'm a portrait photographer based in Austin, Texas.

    At every single portrait session I photograph, I strive to capture more than just how you look. My goal is to tell a story ... the story of you. Who you are today, right now, in this moment. Silly three year olds are allowed (and encouraged!) to be silly. Teenagers are never asked to say cheese. Don’t want to pose in front of the fireplace? Good, because I wasn’t planning on asking you to. Children and family portraiture has come a long way in the last few years and there’s nobody more excited about it than me. Whether you’re just starting your family, up to your ears in peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or sending your teenager off to college soon ... I’m here to help capture the moments you’ll be looking back on for a lifetime.

    So relax, ditch the matching outfits, be yourselves and let’s have a blast!

Bill and Kristy recently celebrated the arrival of their daughter ~ Allison Anne. And what a cutie pie … sleeping like a sweet angel for most of her session … I just couldn’t get enough of her!

13 days new … meet Ivy Mae

Tres and Laura are just the sweetest couple and I was so excited to meet their adorable baby girl Ivy Mae! She had quite a bit of brown hair and pretty content to have her photos taken once she fell asleep.

Ari + Sara + Cooper

Ari and Sara joined me downtown recently for a family session with their handsome son Cooper. Not only does he have gorgeous blue eyes … I’m pretty sure Cooper doesn’t miss a thing. With the weather so gorgeous … tons of people were out and about and Cooper was staying busy watching everyone go by.

Malory
